Massive Congrats To This Super Stylish A-List Couple!

Carey Mulligan, talented actress, super stylish person, all round cool girl and now mummy? Yep, US Weekly have reported that Carey is expecting her first child with husband Marcus Mumford (he of Mumford & Sons fame, duh) with ‘multiple sources’ confirming this news to the American site. 

Carey was last seen walking the red carpet of the star-studded Tony Awards in New York on Sunday, wearing a strapless form-flattering gown, that concealed baby bump or not, looked increds.

She was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for her role in Skylight, which went on to win Best Revival Play at the awards.

Speaking to the site, a source said: "They weren't planning on announcing, but she hasn't stopped working. Everybody around her is being very supportive. The show ends soon and they're going back to England after."

The hugely talented couple are known for keeping their relationship out of the spotlight, but speaking to Vogue, BFF Sienna Miller spoke out about the couple’s seemingly idyllic relationship:

"They have chickens and a dog, and roasts and friends, jams by campfires.

“It’s sort of idyllic. Marcus can headline Glastonbury and Carey can be nominated for however many Oscars, and then they come back to their farm, and they’re in big woolly jumpers and funny hats, raising piglets. It’s an amazing balance they’ve managed to strike. I can’t wait for a little baby to come along."
