PFW AW15 Trends Round Up

As Paris Fashion Week and AW15 comes to a close, we take a look at the best and most covetable trends the Parisians have given us this season! WARNING: Serious fashion ahead…

Retro Vibes

This season has seen a lot of designers looking back to simpler times and taking inspiration from the 70s with flared trousers, groove prints and bold colours! And at Paris AW15 we saw the likes of Giambattista Valli and Sonia Rykiel present chunky knits, little A Line skirts and incredibly long jumpsuits.

Vision in Red

If there was a favourite colour this season (other than black of course!) it would have to be red. There was a staggering number of designers using all shades of the colour, from crimson and lobster, to ruby and scarlet! And it wasn’t just on one piece either, it was worn head-to-toe, and it looked incredible! Check out these Visions in Red from Hermes and Esteban Cortazar:

Masculine Tones

Vivienne Westwood and Chloe have taken borrowing from your boyfriend’s wardrobe has just been taken to a whole new level! There were pinstriped suits with massive shoulder pads, loose neckties and oversized lapels on jackets. Masculine tones yet effortlessly feminine too! Perfect.

Monochrome isn’t anything new to the runway at Fashion Week but it is always a firm favourite each time it is seen! And this season it was shown a lot of jackets that made rocker chick look chic! The best of these black and white tone jackets were see at Saint Laurent and Chanel as modelled by Cara D!
