FASHION MATHS: The Equation of the Ultimate Festival #OOTD

We know there is a pretty basic uniform for festivals - but the reason for this is there is a formula that works - and the reasons for this are many.

WHAT TO PACK: THE ULTIMATE FESTIVAL CHECK LIST

Firstly (and boringly), you need to think about practicality. You're outside for the whole day, where there could be blistering sun or pouring rain. The toilet facilites are (ahem) less than luxurious, you need free hands for holding a drink/dancing/picking up your friends from the mud. But on top of all these trials, you wants to look good. Obviously. 

So, we took all these elements and worked out the equation of the ultimate festival outfit (above). Wax jacket (way more stylish that a pac-a-mac) + band tee (keeps shoulders covered and adds interest) + denim shorts (perfect for quick portaloo visits) + biker wellies (the perfect mix of cool & practical) + backpack (keep both hands free at all times) +  statement necklace (show your personality & dress the whole thang up) = YOU'RE WELCOME!
