Instagram Have Launched TWO New Creative Tools

Back in December, we were pretty excited when Instagram revealed five new filters and the ability to tweak perspective, all in its aim to bring the best-in-class creative tools to its community - but it seems that wasn't enough for those creative peeps at one of our fave social networks!

They have now added Fade and Color - the latest response to the Instagram community’s calls for even more creative options.  Fade (example screen shots above) allows you to create an aged film effect on your photo by softening the colors (great for blurring out on a day when you need a little extra help!)

The secons new feature, Color (example screen shots above) allows you to tint the highlights or shadows in your photo. You can choose from a range of eight color options - yellow, orange, red, pink, purple, blue, cyan and green. 'Shadows' will add to the dark areas of the photo, while 'Highlights' will add colours to the bright areas of the photo. Fade & Color will appear under the creative tools toggle alongside Instagram’s other editing tools - and we for one will be updating the app and trying out these new features, STAT!
